Summer Reading Club for Kids meets in the church library at 10am.  Activities include buddy reading, reading aloud, and checking out books.  Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy playing outside afterward.  Final date is   August 19.

Smoky Servants Grill Off is back!  All grill masters are encouraged to come to the church this Saturday and prepare your best recipe.  At 5:00pm, everyone is invited to bring a side dish to share, enjoy all the entrées, and vote for the winner.  Register to compete on the church website under upcoming events. Fall Kickoff & Church Potluck—September 7. We will be celebrating another year of God’s faithfulness and looking forward to our ministries for 2025/26. Sign up on the church’s website under “Upcoming Events” or there is a paper sign up on the welcome center.

Labor Day weekend (8/31) will have a combined Adult Elective class in the sanctuary for a concert of prayer for the global church and the local church. Join us to be encouraged and challenged by stories, songs, and prayer time as we lift our hearts to God, the Head of the Church body.

Save-the-Date—Teacher Building Session: 10/25. The theme this year is the importance of knowing God and the Bible better. Breakout sessions will also consider how to pass that experience on to participants. All teachers of children's, teen's, adult's, and CORE and Bible Study groups are welcome. An RSVP link will be provided in early October.
